Back by popular demand and, for 2012, even bigger & ever better!! We've got two weekends on the go this year but the first one is already fully booked - sorry. However, the good news is that, for this weekend, 22nd, 23rd & 24th June, we do still have one room available.
This year, on the Saturday, Irene will be leading you and your fellow walkers on a challenging, daylong expedition from Glenmore Lodge on this side of the Cairngorms, right through to Linn of Dee in Aberdeenshire. Following the ancient Glen Derry Way, the route is some 19 miles long. This route through the mountains is quieter and less trodden than the more famous Lairig Ghru and you'll be rewarded with stunning views, spectacular mountain landscapes & river scenery.
We’ll be looking for you to arrive on the Friday in time for supper, ready for an early start on the Saturday morning for the Walk. Transport to the start is provided as is a packed lunch and at the other end, John will be there with the minibus to collect you. Supper will be taken in Braemar before setting off back to Crubenbeg.
On Sunday, it’s out with John for a superb half-day local walk to ease the limbs from the efforts of the day before. It’ll be another stunning route, again not often walked, in outstanding countryside. This evening, dinner will be served back at Crubenbeg.

If you'd like to arrive earlier your extra day can be on either a Dinner, B&B or B&B basis to suit you. If you want to stay later, on the Monday, your extra evening is on a B&B basis only, as it is one of Irene's valuable night's "off" from her cooking duties.
If you would like to be with us, as we hope that you will, please just get in touch, either by phone or by e-mail.
