In the middle of the upstairs landing, you’ll find the door to Capercaillie.

A room with a character all its own, with a unique window allowing you to gaze up at the stars at night – lovely.

Capercaillie is a firm favourite with couples and with our single guests, especially the ladies.

You’ll be taken with the double bed’s interesting antique headboard, shaped like a Bishop’s Mitre and you’ll sink into a dreamless sleep on the really soft & snug Goose & Duck Down mattress topper (a Hollofill one is also available if you have an allergy to feathers – no problem).

As with all our rooms, there’s a well-lit dresser unit & mirror, plus plenty of storage in the wardrobe, the tallboy & the bedside cabinets.

Guests in this room enjoy the benefit of private facilities – a lovely shower & WC – just a step across the landing – robes are provided, of course, for your comfort and convenience.

And, don’t forget, Capercaillie comes complete with its Flat Screen TV, its I-pod dock, the mineral waters, the chocolates & the shortbreads and all the other small details that help us to make your stay as comfortable as we can.
