May-Snaddon---SkyeWe are blessed with a number of places locally where you can see good local art on display – Kingussie, has The Iona Gallery, The McIntosh Gallery and The Kingussie Picture Framers & Gallery whilst Newtonmore has The Newtonmore Craft Centre on the main street. These are the closest to hand.

If the idea of throwing a pot takes your fancy, you can try your hand at Penny Weir’s Loch-an-Eilein Pottery near Aviemore.

We also host regular and very popular painting Themed Breaks here at Crubenbeg House, hosted and led by May Snaddon, a very experienced art tutor and a fine artist in her own right – as you’ll see when you come to stay.

You can see some examples of May’s work in our Gallery.
