Lastly, as far as shopping goes, if you’re taking a trip down to Fort William, about an hour’s drive, may we suggest that you spare the time to visit the shop & workshop at Caledonian Bears – the place where our three Caledonian Bears, Jamie, Gregor & Murdo, were “born”. This wee building is alongside the flight of locks on the Caledonian Canal at Banavie a minute or two north of Fort William.
