Our Grid Reference is Landranger Sheet 35.682927.
By Car
Whether travelling to us from the north or south, please turn off
the A9 at the northernmost turning for the old road through the
village of Dalwhinnie . From the south, the turning is signposted
"Crubenmore" , from the north "Dalwhinnie"
& then, just on the turn itself, "Crubenmore"
. The turning is 64 miles north of Perth , 17 miles south
of Aviemore & 50 miles south of Inverness .
After turning, you will immediately go over the railway bridge.
25 metres after the bridge turn right into the drive, signposted
for CRUBENBEG. Please then follow the signs for
CRUBENBEG & CRUBENBEG HOUSE
- no more than half a mile or so up the main drive.
By Rail
During the day there are through trains from London on the east
coast route via York , Newcastle and Edinburgh , stopping at Kingussie,
just three miles away. There are also regular ScotRail services
from both Glasgow and Edinburgh also stopping at Newtonmore and
Kingussie stations.
Overnight, you can relax on the sleeper service from London , Crewe
, Preston and Carlisle . This stops at Newtonmore Station.
By Air
You can fly to Inverness - just under an hour away, or to Glasgow
or Edinburgh both of which are around 2 hours distant. There are
an ever-increasing number of flights into all 3 airports from many
different parts of the UK & Europe.
Whichever airport you arrive at, we are more than happy to arrange

By Bus
Citylink Coach services from Glasgow and Edinburgh to Inverness
also stop in Newtonmore - connections from the South are frequent
