The very successful BBC TV series is filmed in and around the area,
with locations dotted here and there. Ardverikie House, just south
of nearby Laggan has achieved
fame as Glenbogle House, whilst the steam trains of the Strathspey
Steam Railway regularly haul in to Glenbogle Station – in
real life better known as Broomhill.
The cast & crew are stationed locally for up to 9 months each
year – who know who you might catch sight of!!
